Profile

I possess Ph.D. Environmental Chemistry from Federal University of Technology, Owerri where I graduated with outstanding record. My research focus was Factor optimization for anaerobic biogas generation from palm oil mill effluent using Artificial Neural Network. Also, I hold M.Sc. degree in Analytical Chemistry in July 2008, and B. Tech. degree in Industrial Chemistry in April 2004, from Federal University of Technology, Owerri. Presently, I am a Senior Lecturer, Industrial Chemistry Department, Southern Delta University, Ozoro. Prior to this, I was a Senior Lecturer, Chemistry Department, Margareth Lawrence University, Galilee, Delta State, Nigeria; and Deputy Director, School of Basic Science and General Studies, College of Medical Sciences, Margareth Lawrence University, Riverpark, Lugbe Abuja. Also, I had headed the Department of Industrial Chemistry, Renaissance University Ugbawka, Enugu State, Nigeria, were I led the Department towards securing her accreditation for their premier Undergraduate Programme in Industrial Chemistry by the National Universities Commission (NUC). In the course of my Master’s, Ph.D. degree programmes and academic/Research exposures, I have been able to publish over 13 academic/ research papers and have experience and skills covering various Chemistry courses instruction, lecturing and project supervisions. Prior to this time, I have had over Nine (9) year lecturing, and research supervision experience with Renaissance University Enugu State. With my proven ability in teach chemistry courses and researches, as well as regulate and manage projects in environmental consultancy, I feel that I am well positioned to make a significant contribution to the university systems.
