Welcome Message

I would like to extend a warm welcome to all incoming students who choose to join the Southern Delta University (SDU), Ozoro, Faculty of Engineering, and become a part of its wide variety of majors and programs. To give you a quick overview of who we are, the Faculty provides students with a large range of specializations across many engineering areas. This encompasses the following: Agricultural Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Civil and Water Resource Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering, Industrial and Production Engineering, Marine Engineering, Material and Metallurgical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Natural Gas Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, and System Engineering. These programs assist in meeting the needs of local and foreign markets while also fulfilling each student's academic preferences.

The faculty has established a number of unique objectives to ensure the best possible quality and excellence in the educational process. One of these objectives is to break with tradition in our applied educational systems. In order to foster critical and creative thinking in all of our students and graduates, we genuinely aim to use the most up-to-date and contemporary teaching techniques, including all accessible advancements in e-learning and educational online services. I want to conclude by saying that I have a lot of faith in the academic staff, technical staff, administrative staff, and students to work together under the participation principle in order to advance the Faculty.
